These officers were elected at the picnic, June 16th.
We
are happy to announce that all but one of our current officers
will be able to continue in their offices for the 2008-2009 year! Nita
Little is moving out of the district and is therefore unable to be
our president. Some of the president's responsibilities
include: scheduling and announcing any routine get-togethers
the district spouses have during the year; being a member of
the executive committee of the Texas Conference Clergy Spouses
Association (TCCSA). As such, the president (or a representative) is
to attend the executive meetings (1 @Retreat in October '08
& 1 @Annual Conference in '09). If you
would be willing to be our president, please let Nita know.

We have set dues for the
Texas Conference Clergy Spouses Association at $10
per person in our District. These monies go to support TCCSA
programming, including the Retreat in October and both the
Gathering & the Luncheon at Annual Conference. We would
appreciate any amount you could contribute.
