Attached is information related to the two scheduled
leadership training events. By design, one is in the South area of the
district, and another in the North. We should probably offer both dates
to all churches in the district to allow for scheduling
flexibility. Checks should be made payable to the district
office.
For each event there is a color flyer for display in common areas of the church; an informational letter to be given to individual committee members, worship area volunteers, and to each adult Sunday School class to be read at announcement time; and a registration form to be duplicated for all attendees. Please direct the church offices to send an e-mail to me (ttownags@aol.com) on the Monday following the registration deadlines to advise the number of participants registered and the areas of committee assignment indicated on the forms Pastors should be advised that this is a leadership development program developed for lay persons in the local congregation, by the General Board Of Discipleship of the UMC.
