Our Sympathies-

Funeral Services will be held today in New Orleans, La for Rev. Doug Smith’s mother, Jeannette Smith. Mrs. Smith had been in hospice for 6 months.

Please keep Chris and Skye McLain and Skye’s family, father Jerry and brother Rance, in your prayers today. Skye’s mother, Sabrina Hawthrone, recently passed away suddenly. Chris was the youth director at St. Luke’s UMC of Kilgore and now works in Louisiana. He is a friend to many.

Alaska Mission Opportunity

Local Churches Host Concerts

Several local churches are hosting concerts in the spring.

Williams Memorial UMC will host Wayne Kerr on his “One Voice” tour. The concert is Sunday Evening, March 21 in Williams’ Wesley Hall and the doors open at 5:00 p.m. This event is a District Youth Rally, however everyone of all ages are invited to attend. Attendees will receive a download card to download the CD made from this concert free.

Here is the North District Youth Rally schedule for the rest of the year. I still need a church from the Longview quadrant to host a night of district youth week, and also a church from the Marshall quadrant. Let me know!
