Death of Surviving Spouse- Patricia Pierce

TULSA, Okla.—Patricia “Pat” Blake Pierce, 82, of Cedar Hill, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, in Tulsa.

Mrs. Pierce was born July 11, 1927, in Oklahoma. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Ben Pierce; one daughter, Fran Pierce; and one granddaughter, Abby Glassco.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Kurt Glassco of Tulsa and Janet and Greg Powell of Midothian, Texas; two sisters, Norma Lane and Virginia Dempsey; seven grandchildren; three great-grandsons; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Texarkana. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under direction of Moore’s Southlawn Chapel.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Bruce Olson Missions.

Rev. Chuck and Kathy Huffman – Tennison, Mt. Pleasant – give praise to God in celebration of the birth of their 4th grandchild (first grandson)!  Koen Timothy Huffman was born on Jan. 13 in Kansas City to Rev. Eric Huffman and Rev. Geovanna Chavez Huffman.  All are doing well!
