Mr. Charles Bailey, grandfather of Rev. Amy Hodge of Hallsville First and Kilgore College Wesley Foundation, passed away yesterday, May 26 in Duncanville, Texas. Funeral will be Monday, May 31 at 10 am with Rev. Nathan Hodge officiating.

Rev. Barrow passed away Tuesday night from pancreatic cancer and was 90 yrs. old.

TULSA, Okla.—Patricia “Pat” Blake Pierce, 82, of Cedar Hill, Texas, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, in Tulsa.
Mrs. Pierce was born July 11, 1927, in Oklahoma. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Ben Pierce; one daughter, Fran Pierce; and one granddaughter, Abby Glassco.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Kurt Glassco of Tulsa and Janet and Greg Powell of Midothian, Texas; two sisters, Norma Lane and Virginia Dempsey; seven grandchildren; three great-grandsons; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Texarkana. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under direction of Moore’s Southlawn Chapel.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
