Christ Fest 2011 in Kilgore Tx
33 The Ministry presents Christ Fest 2011 at the city park in Kilgore, on Saturday, September 17. Admission for this event is free. This is the 3rd year that we have hosted the event. A love offering will be taken throughout the day to go to 33 The Ministry. This will be a day of celebrating our Lord. The celebration will begin at 11:00am and end at 8:00pm. There will be various Christian groups and artists performing along with local ministers and speakers presenting messages throughout the day.
In addition, we will be hosting a 5K Fun Run/Walk. Registration for the 5K is $15 if received or postmarked by Sepetmber 1, after that registration will be $20. You can printed out a registration from at www.33theministry.com
The celebration will feature local artists and groups. Headlining the day’s event will be EnHisDay and special guest will be East Texas’ very own The Hubbard Family. Also appearing will be Consumed 217, Faithful City White Chocolate and various local artists and groups. Make plans to attend!
We are seeking churchs, groups and businesses that would like to have a booth at this event. The booths are 10’ x 10’ and are $25.00. You provide your own shade, tables and chairs. You may use the booth for a fund raiser (ie.. selling food, drinks or any other fundraising items. You may also use it for outreach for you church or group. We ask that you let us know what you will be doing so that food is not duplicated.

Dallas Holm Concert at Winterfield UMC
Dallas Holm, who has garnered numerous awards, such as Dove Awards for Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Grammy Nominations, Gold Record and many number one songs like “Rise Again,” “Here We Are,” “Face to Face,” and “To the Glory,” will be giving a concert at Winterfield United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 5 at 6:30 PM. The concert is free to the community with a love offering being taken. First Methodist Marshall Revival
First United Methodist Church of Marshall invites you to a revival September 26-28th with special guest evangelist Bishop Robert E. Hayes, Jr.
Services are as follows:
Sunday, September 26th at 10:30 am followed by a covered dish lunch in the gym.
Sunday, September 26th at 6:30 pm, in Beard Hall, with special music provided by the Praise Band.
Monday September 27th at noon with a pizza and salad lunch, then at 6:30 pm with special music by southern gospel quartet, The Anchormen
Tuesday September 28th at noon with a sandwich lunch, then at 6:30 pm with special musical guest, classical baritone, Keron Jackson.
A nursery will be provided for all services.

St. Luke’s in Texarkana Hosts Chuck Hancock in Concert
St. Lukes UMC in Texarkana is proud to host Chuck Hancock in concert
Thursday July 15th at 7:00 p.m.

Chuck is a former student of Leon Blake’s. “He was a good player on district and bidistrict champs”, said Coach Blake, who coached him at Annona High School in basketball in 1964 and 65. Later, Chuck moved to Georgia after high school and is part owner of a chain of food stores called Jet Foods. He has been singing and performing for several years. Chuck sings Christian music and is doing concerts around Fort Worth, as well as Valliant, OK and Broken Bow, OK.

June 25, Rapture Ruckus with special guest Set Free @ St. Luke’s UMC (Rapture Ruckus is a rapper from New Zealand) – Love Offering
July 17, Christ Fest 2010 @ Kilgore City Park. Featuring Meredith Andrews with Shana Strange and Michael Janetis. There are several other bands that will be performing. Love Offering
July 24, Jason Crabb with special guest Shana Strange @ St. Luke’s UMC. $18.00 advance, $20.00 at door
August 21, Back to School Bash @ ST. Luke’s UMC. Free
November 13, 33 Miles with Chris & Conrad and JJ Heller. Dodson Auditorium. $10.00 group (10 or more), $12. 00 advance, $15.00 at door.
As you can see things are starting to get busy in the life of 33 The Ministry. Please keep us in your prayers as we are still working on the Christian youth center.
I also want to thank everyone that helped with the Chris & Conrad concert on May 31. What an event it was. A special thank you goes out to KVNE. Without their help we would have not filled every seat. If you see anyone from the station, please tell them how much we appreciate them and their ministry. It is a vital part of our community!!!! Please support them any way that you can.
