I just received a call from one of our members who is willing to match up to $10,000 for the faculty and staff of Lon Morris College. He would like to offer the challenge to the churches in Longview. If the pastors of the Longview UMCs are willing to share what their congregation has received, I will keep a running tally and keep this donor informed. These totals can be emailed to me at ransley@longviewfumc.org.  It would be great if we reached $10,000 by June 10 so that this donor could go ahead and write a check to be sent to Houston with the other gifts.
